RITA  PROVIDES A  REPORT ON THE  VERIFICATION  AND AUDIT  REVIEW OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

Minister of Constitutional Affairs and Justice,  Hon Dr Harrison Mwakyembe has received  a report  on feedback about  verification and audit of the Board of Trustees  from the Registration Insolvency and Trusteeship Agency (RITA) read by the Acting Chief Executive Officer Ms. Emmy Hudson during the session with  press  at RITA Headquarter in Dare es Salaam over the weekend.

Bi Emmy Hudson said that immediately after the Agency received the directive from the Honourable Minister in March, 2016 was suspended for a registration exercise of the Board of Trustees of the Institute / organization, also the Agency updates all information about Trustees in a digital form, provided a declaration of intent to dissolve the board of Trustees with an office visit and inspection of the performance and activities carried by the board of Trustees in the Institute /  organizations.

This period of three months for inspection and verification  the Agency has found a total of 500 institutions / organizations are dead (dormant), therefore the announcement of the intention to revoke them is ready for implementation.

Based on the feedback Hon Minister Mwakyembe suggested RITA to add six months to complete the exercise more efficiently as well as providing education to the Board of Trustees and the people on the importance and role of the Board of Trustees.
